Yin is a slow practice, where there are fewer postures and longer holds. This style of yoga promotes mobility and aims to prevent injury by targeting the connective tissues, such as ligaments, bones, and the joints of the body that are not normally exercised in a more active asana class.
This style of practice is perfect to support the process of releasing any fears that hold you back mentally, physically, or spiritually, and offers the opportunity to look within yourself to see where you are, where you want to be, and what you are capable of creating within yourself and your life.
